Visit my studio
I work from a home studio in Saska Kępa ('Saxon Meadow') in Warsaw. I enjoy my home studio setup not only because of the company of two wonderful feline creatures but also the proximity to my books, music, dozens tins of tea and all sorts of materials and tools that come in handy during the creative process. I am extremely sensitive to spaces, and I've discovered that no place gives me the level of comfort I have at home.
I paint on cotton canvas which I stretch by hand on wooden frames made from locally sourced wood. The canvas is sized with home-made glue and primed with specially prepared gesso.
Most of the photos presented here were taken by photographer Katarzyna Czajkowska aka Czułe Oko
and others come from my archive.
