The Hague studio (since 2022)

Again, accompanied by my two cats, I work from a home studio in Groenewegje, which is an old quay on the northeastern border of Stationsbuurt. It is one of the oldest parts of the city — the oldest house in the Groenewegje was built in 1650.

My studio is very small, but, to quote the master Leonardo da Vinci, “An artist’s studio should be a small space because small rooms discipline the mind and large ones distract it.”
