Buying art can be a little daunting, especially if it's your first piece. I try to make this process as easy and transparent as possible, and I'm always happy to advise you on choosing the artwork for your home and its maintenance. I offer free mockup visualisations so you can see what the painting would look like in your home and you can always return the work if you've changed your mind.
Rest assured that you don't need to possess a prerequisite knowledge to choose the “right” piece – what matters is that the painting speaks to you.
Most of my works can be purchased directly from me and some are available from the UK-based Oil Art Advisory Gallery.
Here, you'll find all information regarding the process of buying my work and you're welcome to contact me with any questions you may have!
How to buy my workOne-off pieces
All my paintings are one-off originals. I don't sell giclée "prints" or any other reproductions of my works because I believe that unless an artwork has been created to be reproduced and does not exist in any other format (as is the case with traditional art prints such as lithographs, screen prints, linocuts etc.), a digital reproduction devalues the painting. And takes a lot of its magic away.Pricing
All my paintings are unique pieces made to last for generations. Their price is a reflection not just of my experience, the time and material cost, but also my position on the market and gallery representation. Buying art is an investment on many levels: it enriches your life, brings beauty and uniqueness to the space where you live, and the artwork you purchase gains value with time. My prices have been steadily growing so there's never a better time to buy than now! Buying art is not like any other transaction, and I always offer flexibility and space to accommodate your needs and queries. I want to make sure that the process of acquiring my work is as comfortable, transparent and easy for you as possible. All painting prices are inclusive of VAT (9%).Payment & invoice
Payments are taken via a bank transfer in EUR, GBP or USD. For international bank transfers, I highly recommend Wise because of their low fees, efficiency and transparency. If you are a buyer outside of the EU, you are responsible for any custom fees.Shipping policy
Shipping prices vary depending on the collector's location. Small works are shipped stretched on a frame, packed in a box and are ready to hang. Medium and large paintings are taken off the stretcher and shipped in a tube, and so they need to be re-stretched on a frame, which can be easily done by any local framer or artist. If you prefer to have your painting shipped in a box instead of a tube, I can do this at an additional cost. Each painting is impeccably packed with plenty of cushioning so rest assured it will safely arrive in your home. Stretched works are fitted with hooks and wire at the back for hanging but if you'd like your painting to be framed, I'm more than happy to arrange it at an additional cost. All paintings have a small signature at the front and are signed and dated on the back. Paintings are shipped with DPD, DHL and UPS. They are usually dispatched within 3-5 days of purchase. For large works that require a custom-made crate the dispatch time can take longer.Returns policy
Buying a painting is often a difficult decision and I understand that you may decide that it doesn't quite fit in your home. You can return a painting within 30 days of receipt. I will give you a full refund (provided that the painting is returned intact) minus the shipping costs.Maintenance
My paintings are unvarnished but varnish is available upon request free of charge for a gloss or satin finish. Varnish is not necessary to protect the painting and I personally prefer not to use it because its application and later removal is hazardous for the artwork. Acrylic paints are non-toxic and flexible and the painting can be dusted / cleaned gently with a soft brush or a lightly damp cloth. The paints I use have a very good lightfastness so will resist fading when exposed to light, therefore you can hang the painting wherever you want, though ideally they should not be in a direct sunlight. The paintings that are shipped stretched on a frame are fitted with wooden wedges in the corners of the frame at the back. The canvas has been stretched by myself and it should stay tight but in case you notice that the fabric becomes a bit loose over time, you can make it tauter by gently hammering the wedges which will expand the corners of the bars slightly.See my painting on your wall
The world has gone online but buying paintings online can be tricky, so I want to make this process as easy for you as possible. Reveries and expectations, 2023, acrylic on card, 40 × 30 cm
This work by Malwina is truly captivating, evoking a new dimension that invites us on an introspective journey deep into our animalistic nature. She succeeds in combining eroticism and sensuality with rare delicacy, creating an atmosphere where love and the strength of union are palpable. Each brushstroke seems to infuse a passionate gentleness, transforming art into an immersive experience and beauty that touches the soul.

I am impressed with how Malwina captured me in my portrait. I admire her ability to artistically depict the characteristics of a given person. For me, her portraits are like a psychological profile of a person, in which they learn more about themselves than from any psychological tests. It's interesting for me, looking at my portrait, to see how she perceives me, how others perceive me. This suspension between different emotions, this indeterminacy or understatement of emotions is intriguing. Over the years, I have seen her develop as a portraitist, penetrating ever deeper into the soul of the depicted figure and capturing its interior more and more accurately. It gives me great pleasure to look at the portraits of all members of my immediate family hanging on the wall in the living room.

Adrift, 2020, acrylic on canvas, 65 × 50 cm
I love collecting paintings of my friends but "Adrift" has a special place on my wall. It grows on me every day. It sits in the most viewed part of my house. The colours and the detailed brush strokes all coming together. Adrift symbolise a harmony in human relationship for me, it is about letting go of ones guards and shields, just floating together.

Karolina and Piotrek, 2019, acrylic on canvas, 30 × 40 cm
I am glad that I have met Malwina in my life. The years are passing by, but when I look at my portrait, I think that's who I am. I think Malwina can capture something real, something individual. Besides, I like its colour palette, it is also very characteristic and unique.

Joana, 2019, acrylic on canvas, 35 × 30 cm
Being an artist, I portray myself a lot and it's very rare having other artists portraying me. When it happens, it can be quite a profound experience of self-recognition and self-reflection. Seeing myself through Malwina's eyes and brushes was a special and spiritual moment. I've long been an admirer of her style and technique and in this painting I can clearly see how gently and beautifully she handled her admiration for me as an object to freely express her great talent.

I think Malwina captured me well - not only my physical appearance, but she really sensed the inner duality of my character. I loved the colours she used - pink as a resemblance of an energetic girl who conquers cities. Blue as the sadness and deeper thoughts.

Malwina's painting of me was a surprise. I was massively impressed at how timeless it felt, looking at it. I saw features in me that I intimately knew were there, in hiding, and that Malwina managed somehow to extract and bring out to surface. I am very glad to have let myself known to her searching gaze.

Beatriz Costa, 2018, oil pastel on paper, 40 × 30 cm
I find the Beatriz Costa portrait captivating, especially when you know a little about her artistic life (from 1923 till 1960) both in Portugal and Brazil. Her expressive eyes and personality are beautifully captured. This painting speaks to me, reminding me of the vibrant cultural history and the timeless charm that Beatriz embodies. It adds a unique warmth and character to our home, especially as we live on R. Beatriz Costa, making it feel more enriched and alive. Thank you.

Roman, 2011, oil on canvas, 50 × 40 cm
The portrait painted by Malwina Chabocka has been hung in the centre of my apartment. It enables me to feel the presence of the person portrayed, that is my late husband. The artist has wonderfully captured not only the physical resemblance but also his character, personality, his unique gaze and smile. The portrait gives me a great deal of pleasure and delights all other people who see it.

Lady with a dog, 2010, oil on canvas, 72 × 56 cm
In my family house, the most representative wall was taken by the family portraits. Most of them were painted by my grandfather, a very skilled artist who lovingly depicted his closest relatives. The significant absence of present day family representations has been successfully filled by Malwina Chabocka. The portrait of my wife has an aura recognisable to those who know her. Needless to say, a portrait with no aura is merely an enlarged ID photo. I have had the opportunity to see other portraits painted by Malwina Chabocka and I'm glad to see that the artist has developed her style and is recognisable.
